Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in audit, financial reporting, and taxation, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Lead timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end, year-end, budget, and forecast submissions.
  • Audit Management: Manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants; oversee audits and tax compliance for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee accounting operations, cash flow management, and statutory obligations.
  • Leadership: Partner with senior management and operational leaders to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Process Improvements: Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and best practice accounting compliance.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of four to achieve key deadlines and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Credentials: CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 7+ years' experience in a mid-to-large corporate environment (retail, travel, tourism, or services industry highly regarded).
  • Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
