We are seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead our security team in Springfield, Australia.

Job Description:

As a Security Operations Manager at a global defence organisation, you will provide leadership and expertise in physical, personnel and information security to protect and safeguard employees, assets, visitors and information.

  • You will manage a nationally geographically dispersed team to deliver security operations to the business on both national government agency (NGA) and customer premises in support of NGA's facility footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive culture of security awareness and compliance among stakeholders.
  • Mature processes, policies and systems to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Apply practical knowledge of Protective Security, Physical and Information Security training, experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience within Defence, Government Agencies or Defence Industry.
  • Qualifications in Protective Security.
  • Physical and Information Security training, experience and qualifications highly desired.
  • A strong understanding and proven experience in the practical application of the Protected Sector Policy Framework (PSPF), Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF), and Information Security Manual (ISM) is required.
