The Area Manager (AM) leads the local contributions of operational employees to deliver business outcomes through high-quality standards of care for young people, stakeholder management, and effective operational leadership. The role ensures business alignment, financial sustainability, and growth of Safe Places activities within the Area.

About you
The Area Manager is a leadership role requiring values-driven leadership aligned with Safe Places' culture of unity, support, response, passion, and professionalism.
- Leadership skills supporting young people through local operations.
- Operational planning with focus on transitional placements, requiring significant time commitment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Youth Work or related fields (e.g., Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Community Work, Child Protection).
- Experience with quality systems in residential youth services.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn other programs.
- Valid QLD driver's license.
