Poultry Transportation Specialist

We are seeking experienced drivers to join our team in transporting live birds and bulk feed between poultry farms and processing plants.

**Job Summary:** Our drivers will be responsible for transporting live birds from growing farms to processing plants, as well as moving bulk feed from the feed mill to farm. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting live birds and bulk feed between poultry farms and processing plants.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Ensuring safe transportation of goods by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Providing excellent customer service by delivering high-quality services on time.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision while being part of a larger team.

Requirements:

  • A valid HC/MC Licence with at least 2 years' experience.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of basic fatigue management and mass management guidelines.

Work Environment:

  • Shift work including Sundays to Thursdays (night/early morning) for Live Haul Drivers.
  • Monday to Friday shifts for Bulk Feed Drivers with occasional weekend work.
