Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide hands-on support to our residents, helping them with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, meals, and social engagement.

The ideal candidate will work closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and families to ensure each resident feels safe, valued, and empowered.

This role is about building meaningful relationships, offering comfort, and creating moments of joy. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with daily routines, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Facilitate social engagement and activities that promote mental and emotional well-being

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passionate about delivering person-centred care and engaging meaningfully with residents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent (or working towards)
