About Us

Australia's leading health, beauty, and wellness company, Wesfarmers Health, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Business Safety Partner in Supply Chain.

Job Overview

As a Business Safety Partner, you will play a crucial role in implementing National Safety, Health & Wellbeing strategies at site level and developing site-specific strategies to support the organisation's SH&W strategy and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, demonstrating and driving safe behaviours by applying a risk-based approach.
  • Champion safety on site through the development and implementation of Safety Business Plans, championing wellbeing on site through supporting the development and roll out of wellbeing plans and initiatives.
  • E nsure site compliance is delivered and maintained, leading onsite implementation of the Wesfarmers Health internal and external audit program to ensure Self-Insurance accreditation is maintained against the National Audit Tool.
  • Implement Risk Management procedures for site(s) to ensure risks are identified, assessed accurately, and controlled to an acceptable standard.
  • Support and coach local leadership teams on application of Wesfarmers Health's Care Program Policy, and associated recovery at work and early intervention strategies, leading local leadership to complete timely, high-quality incident investigations.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Warehousing business is preferred.
  • Sound technical knowledge in relation to OH&S legislation and standards.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and consultation skills to identify and influence desired outcomes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to support multiple sites (as required).
  • Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety and Certificate IV Training and Assessment.

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
