Job Description:

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment hire business. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and manage the availability of equipment for hire.

You will be based at one of our FMG branches and will work on an 8:6 roster. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing workshop and servicing statistics to the Branch Manager as required
  • Ensuring daily branch management tasks are completed as required, including management of lost hire reporting and off-hire reviews
  • Gathering and collating KPIs
  • Raising purchase orders for supplier purchases
  • Attending and conducting pre-starts and customer meetings on site
  • Creating and managing hire contracts for new equipment hires, as well as off-hiring
  • Assisting the Mechanical Team Leader to coordinate and facilitate equipment servicing schedules and breakdowns
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience in directing a team and managing service demand. You must also possess a proven safety-focused attitude and commitment, as well as the ability to communicate clearly - both orally and in writing.

In addition, you will need to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have proven customer relationship experience. Working on a FIFO basis is desirable but not essential, as is hire industry experience.
