Job Description

This role is a hybrid opportunity that offers flexibility to work from home and collaborate with colleagues in the office. The successful candidate will be based in Melbourne or Sydney, working closely with senior leaders and functional teams to develop and implement risk culture initiatives.

The primary focus of this position is to lead the assessment of Mercer Super's risk culture through surveys and data analysis, developing actionable plans to enhance our risk culture.

This individual will also design and implement a tailored risk and compliance training program to address capability gaps across Mercer Super and its related entities.

Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

They will build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and functional teams, fostering positive cross-team collaboration and driving results-oriented outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in risk culture programs within the financial services industry, preferably in superannuation.

Skills: Proven track record in culture programs and training development, strong communication skills, ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable Skills: Familiarity with the development and rollout of risk training and culture programs, proficiency in performing risk culture assessments and developing uplift action plans.
