About the Role

As a Public Health Research Specialist, you will be responsible for providing research, technical and administrative support to our Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations, and Impact (HESRI) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the conduct of systematic reviews and other research projects
  • Provide technical assistance in searching medical databases and retrieving articles
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and reports
  • Collaborate with HESRI staff to ensure smooth and successful performance of the research program
Requirements
  • Familiarity with searching medical databases and retrieving articles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines with an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrated understanding of systematic and scoping reviews
  • Knowledge of scientific processes and terminology (Desirable)
  • Extensive experience and specialist experience or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
