Job Overview

SA Health seeks a highly skilled Public Health Specialist to commission, coordinate, and deliver population health promotion, prevention, health communication, and education approaches and services. This role involves utilising evidence-based strategies in various settings to meet objectives within time and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, coordinate, and/or deliver specific population health promotion, prevention, health communication, and education approaches and services, utilising evidence-based strategies.
  • Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders, including state and local government, non-government, and business organisations, to support the development and implementation of population and targeted prevention strategies.
  • Contribute expert health advice and input into the development and implementation of population health policies and programs.

Requirements
  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for general employment is required for this position.
  • Immunisation requirements apply to this role.
