Customer Support Engineer QLD/NT

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused engineer to join our team in Brisbane, responsible for servicing QLD/NT and Northern NSW regions. This role will specialize in our CT and Ultrasound portfolio, providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to customers through corrective and preventative maintenance, commissioning and installation of equipment, and software and hardware upgrades.
  • Participate in the sales process and provide technical support throughout the entire life cycle of customer relationships.
  • Manage and support technical escalations through to resolution, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on progress according to company process.
  • Provide best-in-class service to customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, determining the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge through continual training and development, keeping up to date with new technologies relevant to your area of focus.
  • Work reasonable additional hours outside business hours as necessary to efficiently and effectively carry out the job role.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering roles.
  • Restricted Electrical License.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or experience as an Engineer in the Australian Defense Force.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full AU drivers license and Australian working rights.
