Your Challenge

We are seeking a customer-oriented engineer to join our team in Brisbane, responsible for servicing QLD/NT and Northern NSW regions. This role will specialize in our MR, Ultrasound portfolio, providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Collaborating with the wider organization to provide exceptional service to customers, including corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment, and software & hardware upgrades.
  2. Participating in the sales process and providing technical support throughout the customer relationship lifecycle.
  3. Managing and supporting technical escalations to resolution, ensuring stakeholders are updated on progress according to company process.
  4. Providing best-in-class service to customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, determining the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
  5. Maintaining a high level of knowledge through continual training and development, staying up-to-date on new technologies relevant to the area of focus.
  6. The role will be based in Brisbane QLD, with occasional requirements to work at alternative locations, including interstate.
  7. Ability to work reasonable additional hours outside business hours, including on-call support, due to the criticality of the equipment.

You Will Have:

  1. Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering roles, with familiarity with medical equipment desirable but not required.
  2. A Restricted Electrical License.
  3. A degree-level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or experience as an Engineer in the Australian Defense Force specializing in Communications Electronics, RADAR, Instrumentation, or Avionics.
  4. Strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. A full AU driver's license and Australian working rights.
  6. Police checks will be required during the onboarding process.
