Job Title:

Global Network Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our global communications network in Australia. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in the operation and management of global networks, including 3+ years of experience in network security and management of VoIP communications.

The ideal candidate will possess a high knowledge of IP protocols, routing protocols, IPsec and SSL VPN configuration, and QOS tagging. They will also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills within networking, with experience in router and switch configuration and maintenance.

Previous experience with Global and SD-WAN technologies, as well as experience with Fortinet firewalls, is highly desirable. Relevant security certifications, such as Cisco, are also preferred.

About the Role:

This role involves managing a global communications network in an efficient and cost-effective manner. It requires ensuring network performance through network optimization, managing network security devices within Australia and providing advice internationally on their use and configuration, and managing data centre network facilities to ensure high performance, redundancy, and optimal availability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience working in the operation and management of global networks
  • 3+ years' experience in the management of network security
  • Previous experience working with network optimization and acceleration appliances
  • 3+ years' experience managing VoIP communications
  • Prior experience completing analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations for improvements

Desirable Skills:

  • High knowledge of IP protocols, routing protocols, IPsec and SSL VPN configuration, and QOS tagging
  • Excellent problem-solving skills within networking
  • Experience in router and switch configuration and maintenance
  • Previous experience with Global and SD-WAN technologies/ experience with Fortinet firewalls
