**Job Description**:
As the AM Operations Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the effective operations, management and leadership of Operations during the AM shift at Express Parcels Larapinta, where no 2 days are the same.
Your responsibilities include;
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Effective management of labour for the AM operation and equipment
- Cost control
- Accurate sortation and operational efficiency of the sorter
- Scanning and weighing of freight to meet the PUD on road schedule each day.
- Management of maintenance suppliers ATW compliance documents
- Ownership of the AM operations initiatives to meet the continuous improvement plan and continually improve the efficiency of depot processes and procedures - striving for Operational Excellence

- Experience in a similar role and/or transport/logistics industry exposure preferred
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex scenarios
- Good verbal & written skills
- Excellent leadership and motivation skills
- Sound knowledge of OH&S principles and legal responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite
- Safety & compliance knowledge
