Empowering Parents to Achieve Their Goals

We are seeking a Mentor Coach to join our team. As a Mentor Coach, you will play a crucial role in empowering parents to achieve their personal, educational, and career goals.
You will conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions, offer guidance on parenting styles, child development, and community resources. You will also facilitate group sessions, lead discussions and activities that promote positive parenting and community engagement.
Your core responsibilities will include connecting parents with relevant community resources, helping parents identify their personal, education and work goals, assisting in planning and executing program events and activities, and maintaining accurate records of mentoring sessions and group activities.
You will collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact, and travel to outreach sites within your region as needed.
About the RoleThe Parent Pathways Program aims to support parents and caregivers by offering vital guidance and resources to help them navigate their parenting journey.
- Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions to provide guidance on parenting styles and child development.
- Facilitate group sessions to promote positive parenting and community engagement.

- Help parents identify their personal, education and work goals.
- Assist in planning and executing program events and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of mentoring sessions and group activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an autonomous environment.
- An understanding of local services to support parents to address barriers.
- Possess administration and computer skills.
- Have a current driver's licence.
- Satisfy a pre-employment check including a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
