
Facility Leadership Position

We are seeking an emerging leader with vision and energy to join our organisation as a Centre Manager. This is a 5-month casual role for the summer season from November to March.
About the Role:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and staff through effective policies, processes, and procedures.
- Coach and develop leaders to meet KPIs through engagement, performance planning, and development plans.
- Lead a high-performance, community-minded culture through visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
- Achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a strong relationship with local authorities.
- Implement a customer service approach that meets client needs.
- Recruit energetic, diverse, and passionate staff to complement the team and vision.
- Identify and develop career progression paths for staff, ensuring transparent succession planning.
- Maintain facilities to approved standards in line with contractual requirements.
About You:
You are an emerging leader with experience in sales, financial, and risk management. You can demonstrate how you've built high-performance teams aligned with business goals and articulate the link between employee engagement and business success.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience managing or leading in a leisure or aquatic facility.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate positively.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Experience in planning and executing operational, financial, and people strategies.
- CPR and First Aid (Level 2) certificates.
- National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People clearance.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
- Possession of Pool Operations Certificate (highly regarded).
- Possession of Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
