Aged Care Leadership Position

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to fill a leadership position in the aged care sector. The successful candidate will possess strong people leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in managing aged care services, with a registration in General Nursing and minimum 5 years post-graduate nursing experience. Strong understanding of current legislation related to aged care and sensitivity to cultural diversity are essential.
The role requires the ability to meet budgetary and legislative requirements, while optimising ACFI standards and driving continuous improvement in care delivery. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the facility to deliver quality care and achieve business objectives.
- Meet budgetary requirements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation standards.
- Optimise ACFI standards and drive continuous improvement in care delivery.
- Provide strong people leadership, development, and engagement across the facility.
- Collaborate with the Executive GM of Residential Services and Administration team to achieve organisational goals.
- Represent the facility in internal and external stakeholder engagement as required.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing aged care services.
- Registration in General Nursing.
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate nursing experience.
- Strong understanding of current legislation related to aged care.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and an understanding of CALD-specific services.
