Claims Administration Specialist

About the Role:
The Claims Administration Specialist will be responsible for managing claims from application to invoicing stage. This role offers a chance to develop quality clerical and customer service skills with ongoing support and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take applications/bookings via phone, email, and fax
- Liaise with insurance companies
- Make informed decisions on liability in motor vehicle claims
- Coordinate the delivery and collection of replacement vehicles to clients
- Contact Smash Repair Centres in relation to client vehicle repairs
- Action and respond to emails
- General administration duties
- Data entry
About the Company:
Acorn Rentals provides replacement vehicles to people involved in motor vehicle accidents and is reimbursed by insurance companies. The company has a Head Office in Macquarie Park NSW and receives bookings, organises vehicle logistics, and handles claims administration for branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane.
Requirements:
- Confident and friendly phone manner
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Intermediate computer and keyboard skills, including Microsoft Office knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of customer service and rapport-building skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
