About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Specialist to join our team at DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited. As a PIAWE Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) for injured workers in line with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims.
  • Manage escalations and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide detailed explanations to clients on the calculation of PIAWE and the factors considered.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to problem-solve and maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, and company policies.
  • Liaise with claim stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation and advise on review outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with customer service and administration.
  • Ability to plan and organize work to meet timeframes and manage multiple priorities.
  • Background in working with legislative requirements and guidelines, including payroll data, EBA's, and contracts of service.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
