Job Title: Claims Management Specialist

About the Role:

DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited is seeking a skilled Claims Management Specialist to join our team in NSW. As a Claims Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) of injured workers in line with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers.
  • Manage escalations and complaints.
  • Liaise with clients to provide detailed information on the calculation of PIAWE and what was considered.
  • Problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Liaise with claim stakeholders to advise on process, obtain necessary documentation, and advise on outcome of reviews.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, company policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service and administration.
  • The ability to plan and organise work to ensure timeframes are managed.
  • Background in working within/understanding of legislative requirements and guidelines.
  • An ability to interpret payroll data, EBA's, and contracts of service.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different situations and driven to achieve outcomes.
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
