At Lion, we're a company that thrives on innovation and creativity, making every sip unforgettable. We're seeking a National Account Manager – Ready to Drink (RTD) to join our National Independents team in Sydney, reporting to the Customer Director.
A Day in the Life
As our National Account Manager, you'll be responsible for nurturing and growing our relationship with leading retailers. You'll develop strategies and execute plans to ensure our products reach every shelf and our brand remains top of mind. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales growth and maximise revenue.
- Analysing market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop winning strategies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Negotiating and securing favourable contracts, promotions, and placement for our products.
- Monitoring sales performance, analysing data, and providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Staying updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A track record of success as a National Account Manager, ideally managing national accounts.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with proven experience building and executing category growth strategies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Tenacious and resilient approach, driven to achieve despite adversity.
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities, along with a good understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues.
- Experience in RTDs sales would be a major advantage.
