About the Role

Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving dealer performance and achieving the highest possible standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Promote digital marketing strategies and techniques to enhance dealer performance.
  • Manage a portfolio of up to 15 dealers in the NSW region, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Track and act on dealer stock pipelines to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Engage with national dealers to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance enquiry and closing ratios.
  • Ensure dealer compliance with VGA training programs and provide support to dealers to achieve excellence in sales and customer service.
  • Prioritize actions to maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and experience.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A passion for sales and a proven track record of driving sales performance.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Achieve industry-scale sales budget metrics and KPIs.
  • A strong understanding of Excel and Salesforce, with experience in using these tools to drive sales performance.
