Rehabilitation Consultant Career Opportunity

We are seeking a rehabilitation consultant to join our team in Sydney, AU. This is an exciting opportunity for new graduates in occupational therapy, exercise physiology, or physiotherapy to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills.

About the Role

As a rehabilitation consultant, you will be responsible for working with clients to aid them in their recovery from injury or illness. This will involve developing and implementing recover-at-work plans, conducting evaluations such as functional capacity evaluations and workplace assessments, and collaborating with clients, employers, and medical professionals to ensure holistic care.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise clinical decision-making abilities to aid individuals in their recuperation from injury or illness.
  • Develop and implement recover-at-work plans, job task analysis, labour market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.
  • Handle cases related to return-to-work for various types of insurance referrals.
  • Conduct appropriate evaluations such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLs) to offer comprehensive assistance.
  • Collaborate and communicate with clients, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic care.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation, annual reviews, and achievable bonuses. Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Full AHPRA registration or ESSA.
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
