We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our used car acquisition efforts in the Illawarra region.

This leadership role requires an individual with extensive experience in vehicle sourcing, negotiation, and team management. You will be responsible for identifying high-quality used vehicles across various channels, including private sellers, auctions, wholesalers, fleets, and more.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategic vehicle acquisition plans
  • Maintaining quality and profitability standards
  • Analyzing market data and trends to inform buying decisions
  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY SUPPLIERS AND PARTNERS
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of buyers

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in automotive buying or wholesale
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced results-driven environment
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle valuation and retail trends
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes and tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with dealership systems and sourcing tools
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
