Building Structures Expertise Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Building Structures Expertise Leader to establish and develop our building structures capabilities across Australia.

This senior role offers the opportunity to shape HDR's building structures offering in Australia, creating and executing strategy, technical excellence, and team development while expanding our national footprint in close partnership with clients and HDR's cross-disciplinary teams.

About The Position
  • Create and implement HDR's building structures strategy to establish and grow the practice across Australia.
  • Build key client relationships and secure major project wins.
  • Effectively deliver projects.
  • Oversee the technical excellence and quality of building structural engineering across diverse sectors.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team aligned with HDR's values and technical standards.
  • Collaborate across business groups to deliver integrated solutions for our clients.
  • Actively lead as a member of the Building Engineering Services Leadership Team.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, promoting an inclusive working environment and fostering a culture of belonging.
