Strategic Channel Growth Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Channel Growth Manager to join our team in Sydney or Brisbane. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual who wants to own and influence the Channel strategy in the ANZ region, with a specific focus on NSW, QLD, and ACT.
The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, executive presence, and an entrepreneurial spirit. As a key member of our Channel Account team, you will work closely with the ANZ Sales team, Marketing, and technical consultants to ensure we get the most benefit from partners through market mindshare, lead sharing campaigns, marketing programs, incentives, sales, technical training, and events.
A large part of this role will be focused on developing strong relationships with our strategic partners and alliances using available internal and external resources to maximise revenue opportunities and establish Rapid7 as a strategic, long-term partner.
Responsibilities include:
- Benchmarking and analysing market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Developing and implementing effective channel strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the ANZ region.
- Maintaining quarterly business plans aligned to business metric targets such as training, certification, deal registration, pipeline build, and revenue.
- Collaborating closely with the Marketing team to help drive marketing and incentive programs to drive sales.
- Engaging with Rapid 7 Channel Operations to enable partners in the use of our Partner Portal resources and understand back-office logistics and processes.
You will also be responsible for coordinating enablement activities with respect to Sales and Technical education, driving adoption and enforcement of the Partner program, identifying partner specialisations, and developing and onboarding partners in support of the local region sales plans and priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in exceeding sales quotas and targets working with channel partners, with demonstrable years of channel management experience. They will possess the ability to present value and negotiate deals with decision makers across sales, internal, and partner teams. Knowledge of the security industry or wider SaaS industry is desirable.
Rapid7 offers a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
