Join Our Team as a Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Draeger Australia Pty Ltd. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in servicing our diverse customers by using your strong technical skills, computer competency, and ability to learn and adapt to our ever-evolving products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and test Draeger safety products;
  • Produce work conducted reports for customers;
  • Prepare detailed quotations for customers;
  • Maintain accurate service records;
  • Provide high-quality service and support to our customers;
  • Onsite customer user and maintenance training;
  • Apply a compliance-focused mindset across all operations;
  • Ensure a safety-first approach.
Requirements:
  • Formal qualification in a maintenance trade discipline or demonstrated relevant experience;
  • 2+ years' post-trade experience and proven competency in a similar position;
  • Capacity to effectively service a range of technical safety products;
  • Exposure to delivering product training for a variety of users;
  • Experience with technical documentation and diagrams, comprehending technical problems presented by customers, and providing effective solutions;
  • Well-versed in effectively articulating company and product information to customers;
  • Working knowledge of routine arithmetic calculations and pricing structures to complete quotations;
  • Proficient in various computer software, including Microsoft Office suite of applications;
  • Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards;
  • Strong customer focus, problem-solving, communication, organisational, and task management skills;
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Current Drivers License.
