About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Darwin. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in servicing our diverse customers by utilizing your technical expertise, computer proficiency, and ability to learn and adapt to our evolving products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and test Draeger safety products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Produce detailed work conducted reports for customers, highlighting the work performed and any issues encountered.
  • Prepare accurate quotations for customers, taking into account the scope of work, materials, and labor required.
  • Maintain accurate service records, ensuring that all work is properly documented and tracked.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Deliver onsite customer user and maintenance training, empowering customers to get the most out of our products.
  • Apply a compliance-focused mindset across all operations, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure a safety-first approach in all aspects of your work, prioritizing the safety of our customers, employees, and the community.
Requirements
  • Formal qualification in a maintenance trade discipline or demonstrated relevant experience.
  • 2+ years' post-trade experience and proven competency in a similar position.
  • Capacity to effectively service a range of technical safety products.
  • Exposure to delivering product training for a variety of users.
  • Experience with technical documentation and diagrams, comprehending technical problems presented by customers, and providing effective solutions.
  • Well-versed in effectively articulating company and product information to customers.
  • Working knowledge of routine arithmetic calculations and pricing structures to complete quotations.
  • Proficient in various computer software, including Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards.
  • Strong customer focus, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and task management skills.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Current Driver's License.
