Physiotherapy Role Overview

We are seeking experienced physiotherapists to provide high-quality assessment, treatment and discharge planning in a busy acute hospital setting.

As a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient outcomes with a focus on quality, safety and rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality assessment, treatment and discharge planning across inpatient acute wards, including ICU, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and neuro/medical wards.
  • Collaborate with other allied health staff to achieve exceptional outcomes and rehabilitation goals.
  • Report to the physiotherapy manager and work with support from departmental teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and current authority to practice as a physiotherapist with a relevant registration body.
  • Minimum twelve months of experience as a physiotherapist within an acute hospital setting.
  • Ability to assess, plan and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs.
  • Ability to manage caseload demands efficiently.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
