Lead Clinical Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Clinical Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of the clinical leadership group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our physiotherapy service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Physiotherapist to complement and enhance our existing team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, clinical excellence, and a personable approach to working with diverse patients, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical consultation and education across SWSLHD in the area of specialization
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurological, rehabilitation, or aged care physiotherapy, with advanced practice skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements:
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Physiotherapist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Extensive clinical specialty knowledge and experience including advanced practice skills in Neurological, Rehabilitation or Aged Care Physiotherapy
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
