HorizonOne Recruitment is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Specialist to join our client, a leading organisation committed to driving excellence and innovation.

The department you'll be joining is integral to the organisation's mission, working behind the scenes to ensure that strategic workforce planning and development align with the organisation's long-term objectives.

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workforce Planning Specialist for 6 months. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the organisation's workforce strategy. You'll be at the heart of developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that are crucial for their long-term success.

This position offers the opportunity to engage in impactful work, directly influencing the organisation's approach to workforce planning for a major upcoming event. You'll gain valuable experience in strategic planning and data analysis while collaborating with key stakeholders across the business.

The Role

  • Create and implement comprehensive workforce plans that align with business goals, including detailed data analysis and strategic advice.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps and inform scenario planning, forecasting, and workforce solutions.
  • Manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring agreement and understanding while using your negotiation skills to resolve conflicts.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, allowing you to develop and implement effective workforce strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling you to work seamlessly with HR and business leaders, identifying skill gaps and crafting actionable plans.
  • A knack for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and adept at managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts, ensuring consensus and understanding across diverse teams.

What We Offer

  • $102k - $117k + 15.4% Super
