Operations Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our daily operations at Schiphol, ensuring continuity, structure, and excellence across every aspect of the operation.

Daily Operations

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring operational stability, resource efficiency, and fast issue resolution. This includes leading daily unit check-ins and facilitating weekly operational meetings across departments.

  • Lead a talented team of professionals in overseeing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) service delivery.
  • Drive performance with a hands-on, proactive approach, ensuring maintenance workflows and asset management align with organisational goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
Maintenance and Equipment Readiness

The ideal candidate will improve maintenance performance by ensuring compliance with internal protocols and technical standards. This includes guaranteeing high availability and reliability of equipment through effective planning and maintenance practices.

  • Manage the availability of spare parts economically.
  • Eliminate unnecessary waste and promote a sustainable approach to asset lifecycle management.
Team Leadership and Culture

The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for Unit Team Leads, planners, and supervisors, providing support, structure, and motivation. They will build strong team morale through clear direction, empowerment, and recognition.

Safety Leadership

Foster a robust safety culture, embedding it into daily habits and routines. Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Encourage shared responsibility for workplace safety across the entire team.
