Airport Operations Manager


Role Overview

This leadership position oversees airport operations, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft turnaround activities. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and develop strategic goals to drive operational performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate customer service, ramp, baggage, operations, catering, security, and premium services for seamless airport experiences.
  • Direct and monitor procedures to ensure efficient aircraft turnaround activities.
  • Assign responsibilities, disseminate policies, and resolve service issues escalated by supervisors.
  • Compile reports on operational irregularities and develop corrective action plans.
  • Manage critical situations, including emergency responses and escalations.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain company standards of safety and quality through continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and control of operational budgets.
  • Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and airport authorities.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in airport operations or a related field.
  • Proven people leadership capabilities in complex operational environments.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional insourced and outsourced work groups.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain necessary security clearances.
