Business Banking Manager Role

This is an exciting business opportunity to play a key role in helping customers run and grow their business.

About the Job

As a Business Banking Manager, you'll be responsible for building customer engagement with existing small business customers and providing tailored solutions and recommendations to support business growth and development.

  • Participate in high volume inbound and structured leads-based outbound calling.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to a wide and diverse range of customers in a team-based managed portfolio.
  • Retail and grow existing customers.
  • Understand customer ambitions and help them realize their business growth and development goals.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team culture and environment based on high collaboration and rapid customer solutioning.
  • Meet assigned performance targets across the balanced scorecard.
  • Engage with existing small business customers.
  • Manage a team-based customer portfolio.
  • Effectively collaborate with Lighthouse & CSO enablement teams.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the product suite to ensure customers are recommended appropriate solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relationship Management: Building, maintaining, and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Portfolio Management: The selection, prioritization, and management of a portfolio of work and/or customers in line with its strategic objectives and capacity to deliver.
  • Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services.
  • Credit Assessment and Management: Assessing, advising, monitoring, and/or approving a customer's creditworthiness, credit risk, and suitable credit structuring options.
  • Data Analysis: Collecting, profiling, and analyzing data to translate into meaningful insights to inform business decisions.
