Hotel Operations Specialist

The role of a Hotel Operations Specialist is to ensure the accuracy and security of hotel operations during overnight hours.

This includes handling guest inquiries, performing cash reconciliations, generating reports, and managing emails and phone calls.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in front office or reception roles and be available to work a rotating roster of overnight shifts.

Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred, but not essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests during after-hours periods.
  • Perform nightly financial reporting and generate occupancy and revenue reports.
  • Manage email and phone correspondence while supporting early-morning event setups.
  • Restock supplies for minibars, breakfast service, and bar fridges as needed.
  • Log and communicate maintenance issues and provide clear handover notes for day staff.
Requirements
  • You must possess a warm and professional approach when interacting with guests.
  • Previous experience in front office or reception roles is highly regarded.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster of overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM is essential.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.
