Job Overview

This diverse position involves providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, aiming for return to health and work outcomes.

  • Case management with manageable caseloads and Rehabilitation Assistants' support;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees;
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and work outcomes;
  • Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or motor vehicle accidents.
Qualifications and Skills

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • A qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Osteopathy;
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA;
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships;
  • Excellent time management skills - working autonomously and within a team environment;
  • A desire to problem-solve, be innovative, use initiative, and achieve results;
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and associated health benefits;
  • A current driver's license and access to their own vehicle.
