Team Overview

The CRU Service and Team:

  • Deliver outpatient rehabilitation services focusing on clients with diverse neurological conditions, primarily acquired (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury) and progressive (e.g. Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis).
  • Form an interdisciplinary team (including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Dietetics, Social Work, Rehabilitation Nursing, Art Tutor, Allied Health Assistants), emphasizing client-centered goal setting and rehabilitation planning.
  • Work closely with clients to achieve personalized rehabilitation goals within our equipped center and community settings.

  • Current contemporary social work and client-centered practice knowledge, including management of complex care needs relevant to adult rehabilitation contexts.
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment, initiate actions, and seek guidance when needed.
  • Effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks while providing high-quality client care.
