Rehabilitation Specialist

Role Overview:

A key role in our organisation, working with individuals to support their rehabilitation and return to work. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized rehabilitation plans that promote a whole-of-person approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans that address physical, psychological, and social factors.
  2. Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to facilitate the return to work of claimants.
  3. Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including clients, families, insurance companies, employers, and healthcare professionals, to evaluate and address various aspects of rehabilitation.
  4. Present case information and provide recommendations to drive successful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary-level qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Exercise Physiology (AHPRA/ESSA registration required).
  • Previous experience in structured assessments and complex case management is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
