Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals' lives by providing them with the support and guidance they need to return to work and life after physical or psychological injury.

About the Role:

  • You will conduct thorough assessments of clients' abilities and create personalized plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective treatment.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that cater to clients' unique needs and preferences.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify potential barriers to returning to work and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families to promote independence and self-management.

Requirements:

- Professional registration with relevant governing bodies (e.g. ESSA, APHRA, ASORC, AASW)

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

- Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
