As a Senior Education Officer - Policy Development, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and evaluating processes to enhance teacher accreditation against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. You will support all levels of accreditation, ensuring the validity, reliability, and consistency of decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver presentations to enhance understanding of accreditation processes for teachers and stakeholders.
  • Independently and collaboratively contribute to policies that ensure valid and reliable teaching assessments.
  • Use research to create materials that ensure consistent and equitable accreditation in schools.
  • Provide timely, relevant advice along with innovative solutions to challenges through creative thinking and a strong understanding of teaching contexts.
  • Analyse feedback and conduct research to inform directorate initiatives.
