About the Role

The NSW Government's Crown Solicitor's Office (CSO) is seeking talented solicitors to join our team as Senior Solicitors. As a Senior Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal services to the NSW Government. You will work on unique and challenging matters in a diverse legal environment, building your expertise in legal advice, advocacy, litigation, or transactional work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent government agencies in courts and tribunals to ensure their interests are effectively defended.
  • Manage complex legal disputes, providing strategic advice and representation to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Offer expert legal opinions and guidance on a wide range of issues, helping government agencies navigate legal complexities and make informed decisions.
  • Negotiate and draft agreements, ensuring that government transactions are legally sound and align with policy objectives.
