Accounting and Advisory Role

We are seeking an experienced and organised Accountant to provide accounting and taxation services to small business clients across Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients in a professional and efficient manner, servicing their needs.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams, including bookkeepers, other accountants and support staff.
  • Direct the work of Client Account Managers and manage queries in-line with client needs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary accounting qualifications and professional membership (CAANZ, CPA, IPA).
  • Good knowledge of small business accounting and tax, preferably with companies and trusts in a public practice environment.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Xero and Xero Practice Manager proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the Australian tax system.
