As a tax accountant, you will be part of a thriving team that supports small and medium-sized businesses across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accounting and taxation services to clients in a relationship role, servicing their needs in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams, including bookkeepers, other accountants, and support staff.
  • Direct the work of Client Account Managers and manage queries in-line with client needs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary accounting qualifications and professional membership (CAANZ, CPA, IPA).
  • Good knowledge in small business accounting and tax, preferably with companies and trusts, in a public practice environment.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.
  • Xero and Xero Practice Manager (or other cloud software) proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the Australian tax system.
