**Key Responsibilities:**

The Operations Manager - Accommodation is accountable for leading and managing the effective and efficient operation of a portfolio of accommodation services with clients receiving or eligible to receive NDIS SIL funding or similar funding.

This role also focuses on creating and maintaining a highly performing team culture, sensitive to, and promoting, cultural diversity and acceptance, while ensuring the services adhere to the principles and objectives of the Disability Service Standards (DSS) and other legislative requirements.

**Essential Requirements:

  • - Certifications: Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related field; current First Aid Certificate
  • - Experience: Minimum 3 years in Disability or related field; demonstrated ability to lead culturally diverse teams; experience managing budgets
  • - Skills: In-depth knowledge of disability sector, including NDIS funding and SIL submissions; ability to work autonomously with excellent time management; strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills; proficiency in systems management (databases, Microsoft Office)

**Desirable Qualifications:**

Having a degree in Social Science, Health, or a related field is an excellent foundation. Having had the opportunity to participate in the establishment of new services or navigate complex changes would be beneficial. Additionally, experience in providing operational support and mentorship to team leaders would be advantageous.
