We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Research Officer / Executive Director Mater Research to lead our research initiatives and drive excellence in medical innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including government, industry partners, and academic institutions.
  • Develop and manage research programs that align with our organisational goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and management expertise to ensure effective operationalisation of our research initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field, such as medicine, science or allied health; PhD or MD by research in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional understanding of scientific, research or complex organisation, with ability to develop implement high-quality strategic plans.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with proven ability to inspire and retain top talent.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful leadership in an academic or research environment at the executive level.
  • Evidence of successfully developing and building sustained relationships with industry, government and/or professional bodies.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including:
