Job Opportunity:

The Maintenance Officer is a part-time role that plays a crucial part in maintaining school facilities and equipment.

This position entails supporting the Facilities Manager in undertaking routine repairs and maintenance, managing small facilities projects, and assisting staff in relocating furniture and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to undertake routine repairs and maintenance of the school facilities and equipment
  • Undertake small-scale facilities projects and painting as required
  • Assist with setting up rooms, gyms, and other areas for school events while adhering to OHS principles
  • Support staff in relocating furniture and equipment
  • Maintain the overall upkeep of the grounds and facilities
  • Proactively identify potential issues and work with the Facilities Manager to rectify them
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation in the performance of duties

Working Conditions:
