Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Snap Inc. Full time

About Snap Inc.

Snap Inc. is a leading technology company that empowers people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. Our three core products are Snapchat, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services, and our AR glasses.

Our ANZ community continues to grow, with 8 million Australians now coming to Snapchat every month. We serve this highly engaged community through strategic relationships with content publishers, tech and telco companies, cultural and community organisations, alongside a growing and vibrant creator ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Sydney for a 12-month maternity contract. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with senior-level client decision-makers and brand marketers to deliver industry-leading creative campaigns for global brands and ANZ's fastest-growing businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage relationships with key clients and agency partners within the Tech and Streaming vertical.
  • Work closely with client partners to understand their goals and objectives, ensuring delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively lead product update discussions, educate brands and agencies on Snap's new and existing products, and advise on best practices to drive optimal performance and groundbreaking campaigns.
  • Partner with client partners and creative strategists throughout the RFP process to develop innovative, insight-driven digital campaigns on Snapchat, delivering measurable ROI for our clients.
  • Lead projects involving complex work streams and cross-functional collaboration (internally and externally).
  • Dive deep into campaign performance data, guiding KPI-driven measurement strategies, identifying performance trends, optimising campaigns to achieve results, and providing recommendations for upsell opportunities.
  • Increase adoption and engagement of Snap's self-service platform and auction-based tools, providing ongoing technical support and real-time analysis.
  • Develop best-in-class case studies that deliver a constantly evolving test-and-learn agenda across the category.
  • Host and report on weekly pacing and pipeline meetings with clients to determine upcoming launches and active campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study.
  • 5+ years' experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, or programmatic.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience analysing campaigns and delivering actionable insights.
  • Expert understanding of performance marketing and key success metrics.
  • Deep understanding of media management within a biddable auction advertising environment and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., advertisers, agencies).

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits

Snap Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave, comprehensive medical coverage, emotional and mental health support programs, and compensation packages that let you share in our long-term success.
