About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Investment Manager to join our Technology finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to take on a leadership role in investment spend analysis and reporting.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide detailed analysis on portfolio reporting, including financials and forecasts, and raise issues to senior management and the technology division. They will also be responsible for monthly investment spend reporting and insights for senior management and the technology finance leadership team. Additionally, they will provide decision support for technology's strategic initiatives, including advice on capitalization of investments.

In this role, you will assist the business to optimize project performance and forecasting, including continuous improvement initiatives. You will also contribute to driving productivity and process improvements across the team's processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed analysis on portfolio reporting, including financials and forecasts
  • Monthly investment spend reporting and insights for senior management
  • Decision support for technology's strategic initiatives
  • Assist the business to optimize project performance and forecasting
  • Contribute to driving productivity and process improvements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in a finance business partnering role in technology or financial services/banking
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Good communication skills
  • Well-honed financial and commercial acumen
  • Understanding of accounting concepts in relation to capitalization
  • Experience with data tools such as Python, Alteryx, or Tableau
