Lead Civil Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and participating in civil design projects from concept to delivery.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality designs that meet the required standards and codes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and collaborate with external partners as necessary.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in civil engineering, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar position. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • Engineering degree in civil engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience
  • Self-motivated and technically competent individual able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Familiarity and/or experience with software packages such as DRAINS, MUSIC, Autocad, and Autotrack
  • Road design experience in accordance with Austroads and best practice

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
