Life Claims Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Life Claims Assessor to join our group claims team at Kennedy Reid. As a Life Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for managing and assessing a portfolio of Group IP and TPD psychological and physical claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and assessing a portfolio of Group IP and TPD psychological and physical claims
- Day-to-day liaison with doctors, rehabilitation providers, legal professionals, and advisers
- Initiating claims investigations
- Requesting medical and financial information
- Making claim decisions according to your authority level
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Life Claims Assessor in either Group or Retail
- Experience in assessing Income Protection [IP] and Total and Permanent Disability [TPD] claims
- Passion for mental health and wellbeing
- High attention to detail, resilient, and empathetic
